Wool & Numbers is first-party and low-data. Here is exactly what we collect, and why.
You can paste a chart, enter your gauge and measurements, and generate a pattern without an account. If you want to save projects and measurements, we ask for an email address so we can send you a one-time sign-in link and keep your saved work attached to you. There is no password. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email, and we do not add you to a marketing list. The only email we send on our own is your sign-in link.
Our email provider, Brevo, delivers that sign-in link. Like most email services, it records whether the message was opened or a link in it was clicked. We keep that provider-level tracking anonymized where we can, but we cannot switch it off entirely — so we do not claim "no tracking" on email. We use what it records only to confirm a link was delivered, never to build a profile of you.
We run our own first-party analytics on our own server, and we set one first-party cookie to keep you signed in and to count visits and pattern generations in aggregate. This data stays with us. We do not load third-party analytics, and we share nothing with an ad network.
Your measurements and your designs stay yours.
